Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as an infant. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season.
